Don't be fooled by the fluffy, blonde curls and the soft, little girl voice that sometimes comes out of Laurie. The woman is full of great, big, award-winning ideas as she has proven time and again. She likes nothing better than having the competition underestimate what they're up against. As creative director, Laurie has responsibility for the agency's creative product. She sets a high bar for creative excellence. The work has to be great strategically and creatively.
It might surprise you to learn, Laurie started with us as an intern. From this first exposure to our business, she spent time in some of the automotive shops — Leo Burnett and Campbell Ewald. The competition in the car agencies can be cut-throat. You don't last long if your work doesn't carry the day. Her work for our healthcare clients at Michigan Department of Community Health, St. John Health, Genesys Health System and many others has carried the day. Effective. And award winning.
After the birth of her second daughter, Laurie started her own free lance agency, Brainchild, so she could continue to work for the companies she loved and be a stay-at-home mom.
Laurie is a graduate of Notre Dame who created her first advertising campaign there running for Secretary of the school and wallpapering the toilets with her slogan. She won in a landslide!
Laurie is active in several charities. She's a Brownie leader, a great wife and mother and fiercely competitive downhill skier.
