Bonnie Folster
Executive Creative Director

She can think like the CEO of a high tech company; or an auto enthusiast; or a purchasing agent for one of the Big Three; or an African American mother; or a teenage smoker; or a suburban Chicago working mother. An untreated schizophrenic? No. The person charged with finding the right way to communicate with target audiences so that we get exceptional results for our clients, Bonnie is responsible for the look, tone, feel of creative materials developed by Brogan & Partners in all media. Before joining Marcie in 1989, Bonnie was the only female creative director of an automotive account in the city. Volkswagen & Audi were the autos. DDB Needham, the agency.

A veteran of big agencies, she's worked for Benton & Bowles in L.A., Campbell Ewald-Detroit, McCann-Erickson, DMB&B. Her work for clients has won many awards for creativity and advertising effectiveness. Bonnie joined Brogan & Partners as creative director, partner and board director.

Believing that nothing you learn is ever wasted in advertising, Bonnie's four years at the University of Michigan studying English literature, painting/printmaking and History of Art have served her well. As have the courses at the University of New Hampshire, Cranbrook Art Academy, and Wayne State University.

She's enjoyed her involvement with a number of community and professional organizations including the Judson Center, the Corporate Relations Committee of the Detroit Institute of Art, the Detroit Creative Directors Council, the Detroit Image Team. She's currently a board member of the American Heart Association.

Bonnie is a talented painter, competent cook, voracious reader of books and magazines and a happy traveler.
